Meet the Doctors & Staff

Dr. Marc Ott is the owner and founder of MaxLife Health & Wellness Center. He is a Palmer College of Chiropractic graduate and holds a bachelor’s degree in General Science as well as his Doctorate in Chiropractic. Dr. Ott has worked with many of the professions leaders both in technique as well as clinical practice. He was the 2005 recipient of the Virgil V. Strang Philosophy Award from his Alma Mater and has completed post graduate training in Precision Spinal Correction, the latest breakthrough in chiropractic technique and correction. He also holds a Diplomate from the American Academy of Medical Legal Professionals*. Dr Ott has completed numerous advanced certification courses is specific techniques and diagnostic interpretation which all help to make MaxLife the progressive and cutting edge facility that it is. Maxlife has always been committed to continued growth and advancement in patient care techniques and technologies.

Tonya Maldonado, a native of Mississippi, has lived in Central Florida for 11 years. While serving in the Air Force for 6 years, she majored in Medical Laboratory Technology. Tonya loves her adopted hometown of Oviedo and strives to reach those in need. She enjoys spending quality time with her family, friends, as well as at church. Tonya is MaxLife’s office manager. She is the life blood of the office and is one of the first welcoming faces you will see when you enter the office.
Elizabeth has resided here in Oviedo for the last 15 years. She is married and has two girls, Brittany, 17 years old, a Senior at Hagerty High School and Michelle 12 years old, a 7th grader at Jackson Heights Middle School. Her family is involved at the First Baptist Church of Oviedo. She loves to spend the day at the beach and enjoys shopping any chance she gets. She is MaxLife’s community outreach coordinator and helps bring the message of true health to our local community.

Melissa is from Orlando, FL and graduated from Central Florida School of Massage Therapy in Winter Park, FL. She's been a Florida licensed massage therapist since 2001. Whether its stress reduction, relaxation, sore muscles or pain management, she addresses each person's individual needs by utilizing the most beneficial massage techniques available. What she loves most about being a massage therapist at MaxLife, is building relationships with our patients.
Melissa is also deeply committed to natural medicine and is the patient coordinator for the clinical nutrition side of the practice

Raquel is a chiropractic assistant originally from Chicago. She has worked in the health care industry for over 10 years. She has a very caring and sympathetic nature and loves to see our patients thrive in their transition to health and wellness.
Rachelle Smith, AP is Maxlife's acupuncture physician as well as our clinical nutritionist. Rachelle specializes in Nutrition Response Testing (NRT). Her ability to quickly and accurately access a patients health challenges related to nutritional deficiencies or environmental toxicity are what make her such a successful clinician and her patients such raving fans of hers. Dr. Smith is committed to helping patients regain control of their own health through specific intervention and continual education.
Michael Cannavino, CCPA is Maxlife's Chiropractic Physician Assistant and coordinates most all new patient exams and diagnostic x-rays. Michael is a long time professional and was one of the states first CCPA instructors educating many of the chiropractic physician assistants in practice today. His expertise and professionalism are keys to his continued success.
Will Aviles, RT, RCA, works in Maxlife's radiology department and oversees much of the functional rehab department. Will is a consummate professional and prides himself on the quality of his work. Patients who have worked with Will continually comment on his attentiveness and friendly nature.
